On November 25, an event took place in the Main Building that proved support for Ukraine knows no borders! The international project “United by Art” brought together artists, students, and all those who are not indifferent to the idea of freedom and unity.
Canadian music producer, director, and artist Darcy Ataman presented his film “Ukrainian Artists United,” which brought together the experiences and stories of 11 Ukrainian artists. Our guest emphasized that he was pleasantly surprised by how much music and art bring people together. Darcy strives to make art accessible to everyone.
This was followed by a screening of the documentary “Palyanytsia” with producer Kateryna Tymchenko, which reveals the war not through sensational headlines, but through people’s experiences and empathy.
In addition, the bright colors of the works of Georgian artist Avtandil Gurgenidze reminded us that light always overcomes darkness.
