On September 16, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv held a Blood Donor Day!

The blood drive in the Red Building showed that our university community is always ready to support those who need it most.

Teachers, students and staff of KNU came together for a noble purpose – to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Owing to everyone who came to donate, we managed to collect 48 units of blood! This means 144 lives saved, since one unit can give a chance to three people at once.

This day once again showed that when we are together, we can do more than it seems at first glance! Every drop of blood is not just a donation, but a symbol of hope and care. We sincerely thank everyone who joined the initiative! Let’s be proud and keep doing good together!
