Recently, the students of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv had the opportunity to participate in an important event—the School of Public Leadership, which brought together students and prominent public figures, executives and entrepreneurs of Ukraine. This initiative served as a platform for sharing experiences, inspiration and broadening the horizons of young people eager to make changes in the country.
Among the speakers were:
– Mykhailo Ananchenko, People’s Deputy of Ukraine ;
– Oksana Vzheshnevska, First Deputy Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration;
– Bohdan Balahura, Head of the Tetiiv City Council;
– Serhii Kovalenko, Head of the Podilskyi District State Administration;
– Valeriia Bandurko, Head of the Cherkasy District Council;
– Mykola Shevtsov, Entrepreneur;
– Yevheniia Kuleba, Deputy of the Kyiv City Council.
Each speaker shared their personal experiences, discussed current challenges and difficulties they face in leadership roles and emphasised the importance of responsibility, teamwork and honesty in work for the benefit of the state.
Students were actively participating in discussions, asking questions as well as explored examples of social problem-solving and received valuable advice from the speakers. The atmosphere of the event was filled with energy and enthusiasm, and the discussions on important societal issues provided participants with new ideas for their own development.

Such events are a powerful step in fostering an active and responsible youth. They inspire students not only for professional growth but also for social engagement, teaching them to value the principles of democracy and justice and developing the leadership qualities necessary to be part of societal change.
We are proud of our students who demonstrated true leadership, ready to work for a better future for Ukraine. We sincerely thank our speakers for their time, contributions to the youth development and the inspiration they provided to the next generation of leaders!
